Art Schwartzstein
Art resides in the Vail Valley in Colorado. He has an inveterate love of travel. Recently, Art has been to England, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Israel and Palestine. In the past, he has been to Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Italy, Greece and other foreign countries.
Art has also traveled throughout almost the entire United States from Hawaii and Alaska across country to Maine through Florida. He has also done substantial cruising, including transiting the Panama Canal, sailing the Caribbean and crossing the Atlantic, as well as cruising on rivers.
Art has a love of skiing and has been to many of the finest resorts, including his home base of Beaver Creek and Vail, as well as Whistler/Blackcomb, Taos, Jackson Hole, and Squaw Valley, as well as the mountains on the East Coast.
Art has his commercial pilot's license, with an instrument rating. He is available to help anyone who has a fear of flying that may keep them home.
Art is a graduate of New York University School of Law and began law practice in 1975. Prior to entering into the travel business, Art earned a Penn Foster Diploma in Travel and Tourism and has been certified as a travel advisor by The Travel Institute. Barristers has achieved industry recognition by achieving both IATA and CLIA certifications and is independently authorized by Disney to sell both land vacations and cruises.
With four grandchildren, Art is an avid advocate of multi-generational and skip-generational vacations.
Mindy West
Mindy resides in the Washington, DC area. Mindy has extensive experience in travel, both within the United States and in foreign countries, from Japan to Western Europe. She has a special love for all things French, having lived in France for two extensive periods, first as a student in Normandy and later as a representative of the US banking system in Paris. Mindy is a fluent speaker in French and speaks German.
Planning trips to France is a special joy to her, as she wants everyone to have an immersive experience in France and leave ready to plan a next trip to this wonderful country.
While Paris is her favorite city and France her favorite country, Mindy's extensive travels in the States and abroad leaves her well qualified and pleased to construct a trip of a lifetime wherever that may be. Mindy can plan land trips, river cruises, ocean voyages, ski vacations, safaris and whatever else you find exciting.
